Saint Symphorien, Why Move?

July 13th 2019

Well, a bit of inertia has set in. We decided that Camping Vert Bord’Eau is exactly what we needed.

There’s an Intermarche 200 metres away for all the shopping, there’s a bar/restaurant on site, and we’re relatively shaded and cool (It’s 30degC but that feels OK in the shade now)

Hopefully we can spend “Bastille Day” evening here on site

Everything you need on site!

So I extended by another 4 nights, to include Sunday 14th, “Bastille Day” (Though I don’t think the French make reference to the Bastille).

The current, very loose, plan is to catch the Tour de France near Pau next week.

We’ll see. A lot depends on whether we need to sign paperwork back near Eymet.

I’ll be booking a Ferry back to Blighty for the end of July, that gives us 2 more weeks here.
